Well, the Motion Modded Curry Chev Camaro is finally painted.
She is an original 69 X66D80 (You don't see the D80 trim tag on many non Z cars) car with an N*I*C*B showing Curry Chevrolet near Long Isalnd as the originating dealer. She was bought as an x drag car from New York as a reported "Motion" car. Joel was paid his up front fee, but refused to give the car either a thumbs up/down, or even provide any paperwork at all. All he would say was "inconclusive".
Several people contacted me after this and offered to buy the car, of course at regular big block prices, one being Tom Clary from the supercar site.
She has several Motion and "Day 2" Items, Holley 3 Barrel Carb, Real Motion Valve Covers, Rear Window Louver, Fly Eye air cleaner, Hood Pins etc.
I bought her w/o an engine/tranny but have secured a 1970 CE 396/375 block that has been built to the tune of $7,500.00
Should be home in a few days after buffing and I can get started on the engine/tranny install and interior.
Some cool postacrd shots at the end from a Curry Chevrolet "Speed" clinic with the 1969 "Old Reliable" and Bill Jenkins / Dave Strickler showcasing the latest go fast goodies.
