Here is a new option for rear suspension..... Composite leafsprings. they are about 30 pounds a side lighter than steel leafs, improve ride quality due to lack of friction between leafs, and are less prone to wrap up, and wheel hop. for more info click here

We have developed these with a major racing spring manufacturer to be direct bolt ons. While the cost is more than steel leafs, they are a fraction of what it cost to buy and install an aftermarket 3 or 4 link, which may or may not be designed correctly. 1st and 2nd gens were designed to run leafsprings, any other system will be full of compromisses. We have 20 years of developing and running leafsprings on these cars with a lot of success.
